Brendon Hansford is a dancer, movement director and choreographer who worked with musicians like Sam Smith, Rod Stewart and Rick Astley.
He specifically works in the commercial dance industry.
The reason for me to pick Brendon specifically for an interview is the importance that he gives to mental health.
He has a youth company where he educates young dancers and mental health is one of the topics that he teaches to them.
He has a short dance film named “Therapy” that you can watch in YouTube and it is about mental health: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWOhJfDo1zs
Brendon is a very hardworking person; he does short films, vlogs and also dance tutorials in YouTube.
When I first filmed his class, it was summer time. And then we could do the interview months later as he has a very tight schedule.
In this video we talk about commercial dance and mental health.
