There’s a special kind of argument that can arise in a couple when, for a range of reasons, there hasn’t been enough sex. Unfortunately, couples tend to feel too ashamed to mention what the argument is really about – and so squabble about essentially unrelated things. Even worse, the fact there are arguments makes it ever less likely that sex will actually take place in the future. The couple is stuck in a cycle that needs to be understood – and then broken.
