Borderline Personality Disorder in The Family
When a family member has a Personality Disorder the parents, partners and siblings all suffer.
There can be extremes of behaviours and moods, often leading to problem behaviours like self-harm, substance abuse and suicidality.
Families can feel isolated, confused and overwhelmed. The challenges of how to manage a loved one with a personality disorder can seem overwhelming without support.
DBT London is now offering a weekly support group for family members and partners that focuses on the support needs of the family.
Tuesday evenings 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm Hendon London
The 20-week course will focus on:

The experience of family and partners
Emotional regulation skills

Distress tolerance skills
Mindfulness and validation skills
