Thursday, April 28th, we are discussing all types of healing, with guest, Grace Del La Rosa!

Grace De La Rosa is an entrepreneur and wears many hats. She is a Holistic Wellness Consultant, Contemplative Practitioner, Educator and Keynote Public Speaker, merging Eastern philosophies and practices with Western medicine and technology. She is an advocate for mental health, education, and alternative and integrative well care options.

She converses on a wide variety of topics related to the body, mind and soul, from mental health, fitness and alternative and integrative well care options to communications, spirituality and The Price of Convenience and Unintended Consequences. She is the CEO and Founder of Living with Grace: Mindfulness for Executives, Organizations and Individuals.

She is a Mindfulness Coach, Guided Meditation and Support Group Facilitator. She coaches executives, entrepreneurs, and health-conscious clients. She develops and leads team building programs and leadership retreats. She analyzes organizational systems and creates programs for improved systemic work flow. She is a Spiritual Advisor to seekers on a spiritual journey.

She is also a Clairvoyant Medium and provides proof of the continuity of life. She offers her services to connect her clients with their loved ones who transitioned over to the next form of life, always in the name of The Divine Universal Energy and Source of God’s Love and Light. She founded a nonprofit, Living with Grace Foundation, Inc., to assist military veterans, first responders, adult survivors of childhood trauma, domestic violence and cancer with mental health challenges such as PTSD, stress and anxiety, and substance use disorder (SUD), alcoholism and other addictions through advocacy, peer education and training. Her vision is to build a one-stop shop Recovery, Wellness and Spirituality Center as well as an interactive, state-of-the-art international Vietnam Veteran Museum akin to the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC to educate on all things related to the Vietnam War and to pay tribute to our Vietnam Military Veterans. She is also the first Chapter President of the newly formed Holistic Chamber of Commerce in Jacksonville, FL. She is active in the community and serves as an Advisory Council Member of The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) where they assist 125 men in treatment for mental health challenges, addictions and homelessness. Grace is the former Chairperson for the First Coast Recovery Advocates (FCRA); member of Northeast Florida Council of Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NEFCADA); member of Project Opioid with the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce; member of Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice; a volunteer for Families of Slain Children, Inc. (FOSCI- “FAW-See”); member of the Taoist Tai Chi Society; member of the Jaguar Club of North Florida; and former member of World Affairs Council of Jacksonville. Grace was born on May 11, 1967 in Portsmouth, VA and has two adult children who graduated from the public school system. She grew up as a military dependent, traveled the world, has lived in and out of Jacksonville, FL for 45 years and considers Atlantic Beach home where her father retired from the Navy.

She is a Stage 3(c) colon cancer survivor, as well as a survivor and Thriver! of childhood trauma, domestic violence (narcissistic abuse), suicide and PTSD. She has over 35 years of experience and self-studies in health, wellness and fitness as a former AFAA-certified Group Exercise Instructor, contributing fitness magazine writer, professional fitness and swimwear model, and NPC fitness and bikini competitor. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UNF in Communications and TV Broadcasting with a minor in Psychology and is trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Polyvagal Informed Somatic Wellness Technique. She is also trained in suicide prevention as a Certified Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) practitioner and as a Recovery Peer Specialist. She created a business system of care model as well as a peer reintegration program known as the Transition Assistance Network (TAN). She is also a Professional TV/Radio, Commercial and Corporate Training Spokesperson and Voiceover Talent. Some of her past clients include Homeland Security, Walt Disney World, Comcast, JEA and the United Way of Northeast Florida.
